SOULED OUT Soul and Blues Band
The hardest working band in Durham (that will mean nothing unless you’ve seen the Commitments, from which the band gained a lot of inspiration!). The classic student ball/party/function band playing the songs and the covers you want to hear. Requests very much catered for if sent in advance. Featuring 3 piece horn section, backing singers and full rhythm section, this 10 piece band is very possibly what you are looking for. Recently, they headlined Van Mildert’s Christmas Ball in December 2008.

This nine piece band features a full four piece brass section, guaranteed to get the crowd dancing! With recent gigs in Durham colleges Trevelyan and Hild Bede, at Fishtank Durham (one in one out…) and Ustinov World Music Festival, the band is made up of experienced performers who know how to make the best out of your event.

JAZZ TRIOS and QUARTETS
I can arrange jazz trios and quartets featuring keyboard and sax plus other instruments. These can be to your specification (past gigs have included trombones, bass guitars, trumpets, more saxophones and vocalists so I can really cater to what you want for your event).
