James Reevell is a freelance musician based in the North East of England. He performs regularly as a solo saxophonist, as part of jazz ensembles and alongside club DJs for all manner of events encompassing receptions, balls, parties, launch nights and weddings. He is a well rounded and professional performer who specialises in tailoring his music to your particular needs and your audience’s musical tastes. Other projects include work with bands Souled Out and El Pueblo based in Durham City.
James is also an experienced musical director, having worked for over five years with youth musical theatre groups and performed in countless pit bands both on saxophone and piano. He has arranged numerous shows and studied conducting, orchestration and composition as part of a degree at the University of Durham. James has also worked extensively in sound design and event management, providing sound support for events recently featuring artists such as Frank Turner, Radio One DJ Scott Mills and Captain. James is available for performance as a soloist and as part of other ensembles.
